本板块呈现的是关于瓢虫的科普故事。Bobby在花园里种植了葡萄,葡萄又大又甜,引来了害虫。正当害虫肆意啃食葡萄的时候,飞来一些瓢虫。瓢虫赶走了吃葡萄的害虫,他们自己却也津津有味地吃起葡萄来。Bobby一脸疑惑:这些瓢虫是来帮我的吗?
此文本的解读执教教师采用了思维导图式的解读方式。解读过程中设计了两种内容的思维导图。思维导图1旨在引导学生解读故事的内容情节(见图3)。在导入故事时,教师利用三个人物Bobby, pest和ladybird的图片,引发学生探究:他们三者之间到底发生了什么事情?接着,在观看完动画之后,教师利用思维导图的方式来引导学生了解故事大意,从而对整个故事有个初步感知。接着教师设计了思维导图2(见图4),教师从Bobby的四种心情变化happy and proud、 angry、 happy、confused入手,采用不同的教学方式(Try to read、 Try to listen、 Try to act和Try to say)帮助学生深入感受故事主人公的情感变化过程,并进而尝试自主建构关于Bobby心情变化的思维导图。
上述案例中思维导图式的解读使学生对整个故事的脉络一目了然,既明晰了外显的故事情节线,同时也明晰了内隐的人物情感线。学生能借助思维导图有条理、有层次地复述故事文本,在发展语言能力的同时有效地发展了思维的逻辑性。
