5能了解中国人和英美人收到礼物后的不同表现，感受中西方文化的差异。
6.能熟练掌握字母th在单词中的发音。

教学过程
Step1 Revision
1. Look and say(通过game复习Grammar Time 中的单词，词组和句子并感知新单词hero,as soon as)
2. Free talk: When’s your birthday? 以及What do you do on your birthday?
(由PPT中的When’s your birthday?引到现实中的birthday的询问，复习本单元重点句型)
Step2.Sound time
1T: Today is my friend’s birthday. Look, she’s here. Let’s listen to her.(带着问题听sound time )
2.讨论并交流问题
Q1：Where does her father work?
Q2：Is her mother pretty?
3.学习sound time,总结字母组合th的发音规律
4：Read and match(区分字母组合th的读音并连线，复习Unit7 Sound time)

Step4.Cartoon time

2: Do you want to see the play? Let’s see the play together.
3, Watch and answer:

③Who does Bobby save(救)?
4,边解题边学习(P1)：
