Step1: Warming up
1.      Enjoy a song The party time
T: Good morning/afternoon, class. Glad to see you. Let’s enjoy a song first.
2.      Leading
T: Is the song nice?
 What is the song about?
 Where are they going?    (S: They are going to a party.)
3.      Show the title
T: Right. It’s about a party. Today we are going to talk about a party. Let’s read the title. -------Unit5 A party   (板书1)
4.      Free talk
T: Do you like parties?
When do people usually have a party?
Right. People usually have a party when it’s a holiday or a festival.
What holiday or festival do you know?
Oh, you know many holidays. Now, I show you some. Let’s read them together.
In these holidays and festivals, there is one holiday for you. Which one?
------Children’s Day (板书2)
Step 2: Presentation
1.      Children’s Day
T: When is Children’s Day?
 What did you do last Children’s Day?
 What are you going to do this Children’s Day?
 Are you going to have a party?
(You can try to have a party, because it’s very interesting. You can have a lot of fun at the party.)
2.      Watch the cartoon
T: Now, let’s share a cartoon. It’s about a party for Children’s Day. Before watching, please read these questions. Then when you watch, you can think about the questions.
(You can read the questions by yourselves first.)

3.      Ask and answer
T: You watched carefully. I think you can answer the questions. Let’s try.

Where ------ At Mike’s house (板书4)
Who ------ Su Hai, Wang Bing, Yang Ling and Liu Tao (板书5:贴头像)
Clown------ Liu Tao
4.      Learn “clown” and “appear”

6.      Match and say
T: Let’s do a matching game, but before matching, you should read the left part of the text carefully. And after matching, let’s say about them. (Ss read)

You matched well. Now you can try to say like this------

7.      Judge

8.      Read after the tape
