Teaching aims and learning objectives  教学目标

1.基于该语篇理解词汇:holiday, National Day, Bund, museum, 并能够恰当应用。

2.  通过开放式的对话和互动,在交流中感知、学习并尝试运用句型What did you do for the holiday? I …Did you …? Yes, I did./No, I didn’t.

3.整体理解语篇,通过该语篇的学习,由对话性文本向陈述性文本转述,学生能够复述“假期趣事”。

4.能理解课文内容,通过问答形式进一步用过去式谈论自己和朋友的假期趣事。

教学重点:

1. 能够通过交流与学习,初步感知一般过去时的疑问句并尝试正确运用;

2. 能正确地理解并朗读对话内容,在教师的引导和帮助下复述课文。 

教学难点:

1. 能够通过交流与学习,初步感知一般过去时的疑问句并尝试正确运用;

2. 能理解课文内容,尝试复述课文,并能用过去式谈论自己和朋友的假期趣事。

 

Teaching procedures 教学过程:

Step 1 Warming up

1.    Enjoy a song I went on a holiday.(欣赏一首flash歌曲)

T: What’s the name of this song?  (问歌曲名从而教学单词holiday

Ss: I went on a holiday.

(T通过语音迁移教学单词holiday)

T追问:What holidays do you know? (问学生知道哪些节假日)

Ss: Summer holiday, winter holiday, Christmas holiday, National Day holiday…

(T通过日历教学National Day holiday)   (通过日历教学单词:国庆节)

T追问:Do you like holidays? Why? (问学生是否喜欢节日,为什么?)

Ss: I like holidays because…(找几个学生说一说)

T: I like holidays because I can go travelling in my holidays. I can have a lot of fun.

引出课题Holiday fun并带读

(设计意图:先是通过与本课相关的歌曲导入,既让孩子迅速进入学习英语的环境又激起了它们的学习兴趣。接着,轻松简单的自由交谈拉近师生距离,既集中了孩子的注意力,又为下面的新课做了充足的铺垫。)

2.    Free talk and pair work.

T: I like holidays because I can go travelling in my holidays. Now I’ll show you some of my travelling album. (教师说自己喜欢节假日的原因并展示动态相册)

Ss enjoy.

T show a map of China: I went to a lot of places in the past, how about you?

Where did you go…? And what did you do there? (展示中国地图,问学生去过哪些地方并干了什么,小组活动准备)

T教学并示范

Ss do the pair work and show it out.

(设计意图:通过我的旅游相册展示我去过的地方和做过的事自然导入新句型的学习,引导孩子们同伴互动交流,讨论自己去过的地方和做过的事,为进一步学习做好铺垫。此处的旅游相册设计与作业中用英语做一个自己的旅游相册前呼后应。)

 

Step 2 Story time

1.    Watch and answer.

T: Just now, we talked about our holiday.  Look, …

What holiday are they talking about? (刚才我们谈论了我们的节假日,他们也在谈论他们的假日,导入课文)

Ss: National Day holiday.  

(设计意图:通过观看动画,带着问题整体了解课文大意。)

2. Read and underline. 

T: Would you like to know more about Liu Tao’s holiday? Try to ask some Qs.

Ss try to ask.

T: Underline the Qs in P26.

Ss underline the Qs. (Where and What)

T: Now listen and answer the Qs.

Ss: …   (先引导学生问想知道刘涛在假日干了什么,再课文读并画出问题,在此过程中用图片教学Bundthe Shanghai Museum)

T: How do you think of his holiday?  (你认为他的假期过得怎么样?引导学生评价)

Ss: Good, great, wonderful, interesting…

T: Now you have known where and what… say sth. about Liu Tao’s holiday according to the blackboard.

Ss讨论并根据板书描述刘涛的假期。

(设计意图:先通过听、说、读等方式学习刘涛的假期,由对话性文本向陈述性文本转变,为接下来放手给孩子们学习Mike的假期做铺垫。)

3. Work in groups and try to find out the answers.

T: How about Mike’s holiday? Look at the picture and try to say sth. about it.

Ss: …  (麦克的假期怎么过得?先看图猜一猜,再根据PPT上的问题分组讨论)

T: Work in groups and try to find out the answers.

How was Mike’s holiday?

Where did he go for the holiday?

What did he do there?

Ss work in groups and find out the answers. (老师在反馈的过程中教学Did you..?句型及一些单词。其中Did you..?句型以游戏的欢快形式进行操练,更能增强语言运用的趣味性,激发学生的学习兴趣。)

T: Say sth. about Mike’s holiday according to the blackboard.

Ss讨论并根据板书描述Mike的假期。

(设计意图:通过学习刘涛的假期与学生的生成互动,首先先形成结构性的对话,便于学生进行对话交流,为接下来打下基础。通过图片这一具体情境,结合上一教学环节的框架结构,重心下移,学生小组合作,自主解决问题学习Mike的假期。

4.    Read after the recording. (跟读)

(设计意图:重点指导过去式的读音、重读和连读等。)

5.    Show the story by retell or act it out. (根据板书复述)

(设计意图:语言是用来交流的,在课堂上应该给与孩子较多的对话交流的机会,鼓励孩子大胆表达,并进行适当的体态语的指导,培养语言的交际能力。

Step 3 Promotion   (谈论自己的暑假拓展提升)

1.            Talk about our summer holiday.

(设计意图:在理解课文内容的基础上,通过问答形式进一步用过去式谈论自己和朋友的假期趣事并形成叙述性文本,学以致用。)

2.            Enjoy some beautiful pictures of scenic spots and historical sites.

 (设计意图:通过欣赏国内外风景名胜的照片等开阔学生的视野,认识更多的城市。)

 

Homework:

1. Listen, read and try to recite the story.

2. Introduce your friends’ holidays to your family.

3. Try to make an English Travelling album.
