一、教学内容
译林小学英语五年级下册Unit 7 Chinese festivals的拓展板块。
二、教学目标
1、知识目标
1)通过复习,学生能熟练地掌握节日类词汇:New Year’s Day, Hallwoeen, Easter, May Day, Children’s Day, National Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Spring Festival等。
2)通过形式多样的教学活动,学生能熟练运用When’s …? It’s in/on …. What do people usually do at /on …? They …等句型与别人以节日为话题进行交流。
2、技能目标
1)能正确朗读并理解节日类词汇、能积极交流节日信息。
2)能根据关键词提炼文本信息。
3)能通过ipad学习工具,能获取相关信息,并能和他人大方地、熟练地进行交流。
3、情感目标
1)通过本课学校,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
2)在小组活动中培养学生合作、探究的能力。
3)在节日活动体验中,丰富学生的情感,开阔学生的国际视野。
4、软件
有道,节日嘉年华,多纳学英语,icard等。
三、教学过程
Task1: Review and check
1.      review and share
T: Good morning, boys and girls. Today we will have a special lesson.
T: Do you remember your homework?
T: How did you learn?
T: Log on Ureading, read the words and share with your partners.
2.      look and check
T: Let’s play a game. Look at the pictures and say the holidays.
T: Next, look at the dates and say the holidays.
3.      read and circle
T: Let’s do some exercise.
S read the sentences and circle the holidays, then check in groups.
T and S check the answer.
(Spring Festival/ May Day/ Children’s Day/ Dragon Boat Festival/ Mid-Autums Festival.)
Task2: Happy Halloween
1.      talk about Halloween
T: What do you know about Halloween?
T: Do you want to know more about Halloween? Here’s an interesting book for you. Please read it by yourselves.
S read and write down the information.
2. talk more about Halloween with the help of “when/why/what/how.”
3. show and share
S show in different ways and share with others.
Task3; Our favourite holidays
1.      choose and learn
S choose one of their favourite holidays: Easter, Thanksgiving, Spring Festival and Christmas.
2. talk in groups
S make a new group according to their favourite.
T gives the students the learning tips.
3. share and evaluate
S show in different ways and evaluate.
Task4: Homework
